LYYN Hawk Board

The LYYN HAWK Integration Board™ is the ideal solution for product manufacturers and system integrators that want to offer lyynification™ inside their own products, offering their customers new abilities in low visibility conditions.

Some feature highlights:

Video Input

PAL 625-line standard 25 fps or NTSC 525-line standard 30 fps, auto sensing of format

• Input configuration and active input selectable through control port or automatic switching between Y/C and CVBS.
• Direct Analog Bypass when unit is powerless. Analog Bypass is also selectable through RS control port.
• Configurable color level, brightness and contrast through RS control port.

Video Output

PAL 625-line standard 25 fps or NTSC 525-line standard 30 fps. The video output format is the same as the input format, either 525-line or 625-line standard depending on the video input. A video test image is generated if video input is lost. The output is maintained in the format of the last received valid video input.

Output configuration selectable through control port, either CVBS, Y/C or automatic. CVBS output format is default. If automatic is selected and Y/C is present on input Y/C is automatically selected on output.

Standard Control Panel included

A thin “membrane” panel is included with the HAWK BOARD™. It can be mounted and sealed to a flat surface with an adhesive. If the application requires a water tight seal LYYN™ recommends some extra mechanical mounting, like clamping or screws.

The panel is connected to the HAWK BOARD with a flat cable (included). 

Customized control panels can be supplied on request.

It is possible to develop other panels with other controls and settings. Available options:

Software controllable through RS Control Port

Physical connection:

• RS232 and RS485 standard serial protocol. Selection between RS232 or RS485 protocol specification is automatic and both RS232 and RS485 inputs and outputs are active at the same time.
• ASCII text based communication protocol.
• Standard 2 row 2.54 mm pin pitch flat cable connectors complying to DIN41651/MIL-C-83509 standard, PCB to flat cable connector.
